With our Summer and Winter Food X-travaganzas and thanks to our generous and caring community we’ve managed to collect a massive amount of food and donations for @hackneyfoodbank. They are incredibly grateful and this makes such a huge difference to the people it helps. Thankyou to all the love, support and help that made this a reality.
For our Summer X-travaganza we had an afternoon of entertainment on the green opposite the shop, with Juniors jerk chicken and lots of local bands playing. We smashed it out the park.
The Winter X-travaganza surpassed our expectations with 700kg of food brought by our lovely locals and a huge influx of cash for the Hackney foodbank which they sincerely appreciated. We had 5 bands, karaoke, mulled wine on tap and a right old pre-Xmas knees up.
